Paul Pugliese

After his formal schooling, Paul came to Salon Blast in March of 2010 as an apprentice to Juan Lopez, former instructor from the Aveda Institute. His experience at Salon Blast has added to his knowledge of hair color and cutting. He is particularly interested in highlighting, long layered haircuts and various styles of short cuts. He is eager to expand upon his current experience and add to his quickly growing repertoire of style.

Paul describes himself as a friendly outgoing person with a genuine desire to please every client who sits in his chair. He has a talent for getting to know each client, is extremely conscientious and wants, above all, to personalize a look his client will love.

Paul grew up in the Seattle area and has been heavily involved in this city's music scene as a musician and an audio engineer. Having been involved in the Seattle music scene most of his life, he brings a unique perspective on style and a contemporary flair to his work. His love for art and music led him to the hair industry, since he felt it provided him a way to draw upon his artistic skills and apply them to a profession. Being a hairdresser provides a great opportunity to continue to express himself artistically.

Paul enjoys music of almost any genre; he spends his free time enjoying outdoor activities like biking and hiking.
